Retired Air Force Fighter-Bomber Pilot Sam DEHNE was included in
2015 Register of United States Air Force Academy Alumnus Non-Profit Pioneers and Innovators.
DEHNE's spearheading exploits were

His philanthropic efforts epitomize

1. Sam DEHNE is a one-person non-profit operation that has had astounding
success in rehabilitating and benefiting Reno and its citizens since 1994. He is
one of the most recognized and respected names in Reno. When DEHNE speaks,
people listen.
2. DEHNE is totally philanthropic with no outside money spent for the
mind-boggling efforts and results. Reno has benefited financially and
emotionally and philosophically.

3. DEHNE has built up a vast amount of unique knowledge and expertise by
attending and testifying at 99.7% of the Reno area government meetings

During his Air Force days in 1966/67
Captain Sam DEHNE
single-handedly created a B-52
Fuel Management program (click) that saved U.S . taxpayers more than $1,000,000,000
billion dollars.
He did the volunteer work for free/gratis; as contribution to America,
through the
Armed Forces "Big R - Cost Reduction Program".
This is THE DEFINITION of "Non-Profit"!
Single-handedly saved Burning Man Event from being shut down by local
government. This massive Event pours $millions into Reno community every year.
Single-handedly
spearheaded Nevada Air National Guard transfer from RF-4 Phantom to C-130 cargo
planes. This patriotic effort helped save NANG hundreds of jobs; and from
possible extinction and/or re-location.
Driving Force in
creation of Reno Discovery (Kids) Museum.
A Driving Force
in having Medical Marijuana dispensaries legalized in Reno area. This provides
healthy support for thousands of citizens.
A
Driving Force in hiring of Washoe County and City of Reno Managers.
A Driving Force
force behind the creation of Reno "Jam On It" Basketball tournaments; that now
includes hundreds of teams. This is great fun for the contestants and families
and provides a huge financial support to Reno.
In 2014 DEHNE was a Driving Force that brought Tesla battery "gigafactory" to Reno. He
spearheaded the Drive as the Only Citizen who made myriad Official Public
Appearances with erudite and original testimony at Govt Meetings. This Website

When the Reno
casino bosses wanted somebody to convince the Reno council to help them
subsidize the critical Bowlers’ Conventions, they came to DEHNE. DEHNE was the only
citizen to go to podiums and tell council to give casinos the help they
requested. Reno council agreed with DEHNE’s Directive. These massive Bowling
Tournaments inject $millions into Reno economy every year.
Note: “Driving Force” means that DEHNE was virtually the ONLY person to go to government Public Comment podiums at meetings and provide expert testimony that requested or demanded that government bureaucrats honor and obey his Directives on the Issues.
Ironically, another tremendous Benefit of DEHNE's record-shattering government
Watchdogging; is that for 21 years it has forced the bureaucrats to try to make
intelligent and honest decisions about what to do with Citizens' money. And it is Sam DEHNE who
has had to do most of the Reno media's work.
Brief Epilogue: This document is submitted with no expectations of monetary
award; in keeping with DEHNE’s lifelong philanthropic Crusades. There is much
